David
Wehrle is partner and practice leader for BMF Advisors LLC, an affiliate
of
Bober, Markey, Fedorovich &
Company, specializing in corporate finance and restructuring. David has more
than 28 years of financial and operational experience, including seven years of
restructuring and advisory work with FTI Consulting and PricewaterhouseCoopers’
Business Recovery Services. He has served as advisor to companies, secured
creditors and unsecured creditors committees in out-of-court restructurings and
in formal bankruptcy proceedings. His expertise includes supply chain
management, business plan formulation, liquidity management, lender and creditor
advisory services, advising on the sale or purchase of businesses and assets,
bankruptcy preparation, reorganization plan negotiation and interim management.
Mr. Wehrle has extensive experience in manufacturing and metals-related
industries. His most notable cases include Delphi Corporation, Tower Automotive,
LTV Corporation, National Steel, Rouge Steel, Ormet Corporation, Horsehead
Industries, Special Metals and Republic Technologies.
Prior to beginning his consulting career, David had more than 20 years of
industry experience, primarily with North American Refractories Company (NARCO).
At NARCO, he assumed assignments of increasing responsibility encompassing
business planning and development, treasury and risk management, enterprise
resource planning software implementation, working capital management, new
division start up, and M&A activities including modeling and participating in a
successful leveraged buyout. Prior to NARCO, he was responsible for
manufacturing processes within the Control Equipment Group of Westinghouse
Electric Corporation.
Mr. Wehrle holds an M.S. in engineering and a B.S. in materials science and
engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He is a Certified
Turnaround Professional (CTP), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and a Certified
Insolvency and Restructuring Advisor (CIRA). David is a member of the CFA
Institute, the Turnaround Management Association and the Association of
Insolvency and Restructuring Advisors.

Mark
Bober serves as the Firm's Director of Financial Advisory Services, which
includes business valuation, litigation support, forensic accounting, and
transaction support services. He also maintains expertise in accounting and tax
matters.
Mark has provided M&A transaction support services (financial and tax due
diligence) on a national basis for private equity groups, public company
business development groups and subordinated debt lenders.
He also has extensive experience testifying as financial expert on valuation,
damage, accounting, and forensic matters at the federal, state and local court
levels.
Mark has performed a variety of special projects for his clients including
internal control reviews, cash flow studies, financing assistance, acquisition
due diligence, estate planning, buy-sell and cross purchase agreements,
strategic and tax planning, cost accounting studies, profitability analyses,
compensation studies, projections and forecasts, as well as development of
business plans.
A 1983 graduate of Miami University, Mark was with Price Waterhouse from 1983
- 1992. He is a CPA, is Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV), is a Certified
Valuation Analyst (CVA), and has received the AICPA Business Valuation
Certificate of Educational Achievement. He is also a member of the Institute of
Business Appraisers, the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts,
and the American Society of Appraisers.
Mark is past Chairman of the Valuation / Litigation Support Committee of the
Ohio Society of CPA's local chapter, National Chairman of PKF International
Corporate Finance Task Force and Vice Chairman of its Legal Services / Business
Valuation Committee, past Co-Chairman of United Way's Young Leadership Division,
Past President of The Volunteer Center, a member of Leadership Akron's 1994/95
Class, a Board member of the Akron Community Foundation, Board Member of the
Hospice Center, President of the Board of Trustees of the Jewish Community
Center of Akron, Vice President of the Board of Trustees of the Jewish Community
Board of Akron, a member of the Board of Trustees of Community Improvement
Corporation.
Mark is a frequent speaker on business valuation issues, including speaking
engagements at the Ohio Employee Ownership Conference, Miami University Guest
Lecturer, the University of Akron MBA Program Guest Lecturer, The Cleveland Bar
Association, and the Northeast Ohio Employee Ownership Center. He has also
authored a number of articles on this and other topics, which have appeared in
Crain's Cleveland Business, The Cleveland Plain Dealer, and
Smart Business.
